December 25th, 2009, Continuing Professional Eduation Program, Jikiden-kai was held at Yaletown Clinic. |
Topic: Aze Tsubo (trigger points) |
Presentation was done by
Kiyoshi. Key points of the lecture were as follows: 1. Addition to the Basic Shiatsu Points, we need to detect any additional Aze Tsubo Pts. 2. Detection of active Aze Tsubo pts is based on the sensitivity of the thumbs and fingers. Kiyoshi notes that these Aze Tsubo points are difficult to master, but are very important. After the lecture, the attendee's practiced Shiatsu on the floor and on the therapy-tables. (Akiko)
